MVP Mycology was founded in 2020.

It had no name and was just a hill dream at some point. I thought about what I wanted to do with myself after years working on a large outdoor farm in the hills of the Pacific Northwest. From farming I learned to maintain harmony while working around living organisms by recognizing phases and development in growth cycles.

Now I’m in PDX, and my new path is working with fungi. This has been quite a learning experience. There is more than one way to get results, and a lot can be learned from other peoples techniques. Ultimately sterility, cleanliness, consistency, and patience are some of mycologists best friends.
